T-ara's Areum Suddenly Hospitalized... "Unconscious State"

Areum (30, real name Lee Areum), a former member of the girl group T-ara, was reportedly transported to a hospital and is receiving treatment after attempting an extreme act.


According to multiple entertainment media reports, including 'OSEN,' Areum was rushed to a nearby hospital in the early hours of the 27th after attempting an extreme act. She has not yet regained consciousness, and it is reported that a message from Areum was left at the scene.

Areum joined T-ara in July 2012 but left the group in July of the following year and transitioned to a solo singer. She also appeared on various entertainment programs such as KBS2's "Idol Rebooting Project - The Unit" and TV Chosun's "Tomorrow's National Singer."


In 2019, she married a non-celebrity businessman and has two children. Earlier, Areum suddenly announced her divorce in December last year. It is currently known that she is undergoing divorce proceedings with her husband.


On the 25th, she claimed on her social media that she had been subjected to domestic violence by her husband. Areum said, "This photo was taken immediately after I fled to my parents' home on the day I was mercilessly beaten in front of my child," adding, "Although it cannot be shown, I was covered with bruises all over. My nasal bone was fractured, and bruises appeared the following month."
