On the 26th (local time), he posted on social media, "I have achieved a lot with my brother," and "It has been a blessing to have Tim carry my caddie bag for the past eight years." Tim decided to quit caddying to spend more time with his family. Tim coached golf at Arizona State University. He coached Jon Rahm (Spain), who is ranked third in the world, and once worked as his agent.
Mickelson continued to thrive even after replacing caddie Jim Mackay with his brother eight years ago. He won three PGA Tour events, including the 2018 World Golf Championships (WGC) Mexico Championship, the 2019 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and the 2021 major PGA Championship.
Currently playing in LIV Golf, Mickelson did not reveal who his new caddie will be. He will compete in the LIV Miami (total prize money $25 million), held over three days starting from the 5th of next month (local time) at Trump Doral Golf Club (par 72, 7,701 yards) in Florida, USA.
