In Yohan, the election campaign committee chairman of the People’s Future, a satellite party of the People Power Party, took official schedules such as paying tribute to the 14th anniversary of the Cheonan ship attack incident. Attention is focused on whether the support rate for the People Power Party will rebound under the 'two-top' system with Han Dong-hoon, the emergency committee chairman of the People Power Party, created 15 days before the general election.

On the morning of the 26th, Chairman In presided over the first election campaign committee meeting of the People’s Future at the central party office in Yeouido, Seoul. Chairman In said, "Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, and Cho Guk, the leader of the Cho Guk Innovation Party, have made words and actions that threaten democracy," adding, "I am deeply concerned whether these people are truly the 'conscience in action' that former President Kim Dae-jung spoke of." He also stated, "There are various disputes within the People’s Future. I dare say that these disputes and diversity are a sound and healthy appearance," and added, "Although I am a doctor and do not know much about politics, I sincerely hope that by entering the National Assembly, we can reflect policies and intentions that meet the people's expectations and pass on a more advanced country to our descendants."

After the meeting that day, Chairman In planned to visit Baengnyeongdo, Incheon, for a one-night, two-day schedule to pay tribute to the memorial tower of the 46 Cheonan ship heroes. This is a similar security event to the one attended by Chairman Han at the Navy’s 2nd Fleet Command in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, on the 22nd, commemorating the 9th West Sea Defense Day. Chairman In said, "We must not forget those who gave their lives for us," and added, "I believe we must continue to remember and ensure that the preciousness is passed on and taught to future generations."

The People Power Party and the People’s Future have begun solidifying the two-top system of Chairman Han and Chairman In. Chairman In participated in a street greeting held the previous day with Chairman Han at the Tteokbokki Town in Sindang-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. On that day, Chairman In told reporters at the central party office in Yeouido, "I told Chairman Han the day before that visiting Severance Hospital in Sinchon was a very grateful act," and added, "Regarding the issue of the number of medical staff, I think the figure of 2,000 was mentioned in passing, but it seems that this came up because of the shortage of doctors in the provinces."

According to a public opinion poll conducted by Realmeter on the 21st and 22nd targeting 1,400 people aged 18 and over nationwide, the support rate for the People Power Party recorded 37.1%, down 0.8 percentage points from the previous survey. As of just four days ago on the 4th, the support rate for the People Power Party, along with a positive evaluation of Chairman Han, was 46.7%, leading the Democratic Party beyond the margin of error, but it is falling again.

Chairman In was considered for the election campaign committee chairman even before receiving the proportional representation ranking. After the People Power Party suffered a crushing defeat in the Seoul Gangseo District mayoral by-election last October, Chairman In, the first special naturalized citizen of Korea, was appointed as the innovation committee chairman. Chairman In also mentioned the continuity of the innovation committee. On the previous day, Chairman In told reporters at the central party office in Yeouido, "I came here to see the completion of innovation."

Meanwhile, regarding the issue of increasing medical school quotas, Chairman In’s role is also being discussed. On the previous day, Yoon Sang-hyun, a member of the People Power Party, said through his social media, "For Chairman Han’s mediation not to be in vain, a consultative body should be formed with parties who can have frank discussions," adding, "People Power Party co-election campaign chairman Ahn Cheol-soo, a doctor-turned-lawmaker, and Chairman In, a former medical school professor, are the right people for this."
