Lotte Mart and Supermarket Joint Founding Event 'Bigger Sale'

Lotte Mart and Super announced on the 26th that they will hold an integrated founding event called 'THE (The) Big Sale' from the 28th of this month to the 17th of next month.

In this event, Lotte Mart and Super increased the number of discounted items by about 50% compared to previous discount events. The 'Gonggu Hot Deal' items, which are exclusive planned products of Lotte Mart and Super, launched about 100 items, the largest scale ever for a single event. The company stated, "To celebrate the 26th anniversary of the mart and the 24th anniversary of the super, totaling 50 years, we expanded half-price discount products and prepared mainly cost-effective products."

For L.Point members, major food items such as Korean beef, chicken, and snow crab will be sold at up to 50% discount. From the 28th to the 3rd of next month, all first-grade Korean beef products can be purchased at half price when paid with the event card. The same discount rate applies to 'Deli Big Chicken (per piece)' and 'Fresh Snow Crab (100g)'.

To stabilize food prices, popular fruits and vegetables will also be offered at special prices. Representative products include 'High-Sugar Giant Orange', 'Full-Load Spinach', and 'Dagagi Cucumber'. Lotte Mart and Super will apply a 20% discount coupon from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to these products for discounted sales. From the 29th to the 31st, 'Paprika', 'Happy Fresh Eggs', and 'Antibiotic-Free Eggs' will be offered as weekend specials.

Popular brand products by category will be offered with 'One Plus One (1+1)' or lowest price promotions. From the 28th to the 31st, ready meals such as 'CJ Bibigo Room Temperature Soup Dishes' and household items like laundry detergent will be sold as 1+1 deals, and all items of the home tableware brand 'Portmeirion Botanic Garden' will be sold at up to 50% discount when paid with the event card.

In the deli section, L.Point members can purchase 'Half-Price Treasure Sushi' in a 30-piece pack at a 50% discount. The newly launched 'The Bigger Jumbo Bibimbap (831g)', which has about twice the amount of vegetables and rice compared to the existing one, will also be available. At Lotte Mart Pungmiso, until the 10th of next month, a 'King Croissant' about 10 times larger than the croissants sold on the market will be sold.

Exclusive products include 'Gonggu Hot Deal 2080 Pink Toothpaste Plan (450g)' and 'Gonggu Hot Deal CJ Small Hetban (130g·10 packs)'. The company explained that Gonggu Hot Deal products can also be purchased on Lotte ON. Lotte Mart and Super also added that after the founding event ends, they plan to give prizes such as Tesla Y and massage chairs to visiting customers through a lottery.
