Uljin-gun, Prepare in Advance for Forestry Direct Payment Applications

Application and Registration in Eup and Myeon from April 1 to 30

Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will accept applications for the 2024 Forestry and Forest Public Direct Payment from April 1 to April 30.

Now in its third year of implementation, the forestry direct payment system is a program that provides direct payments to forestry operators who meet certain qualifications and comply with requirements in forest areas where forestry business entities were registered between April 1, 2019, and September 30, 2022.

Forestry operators wishing to receive the forestry direct payment must submit an application form to the town or township office that has jurisdiction over the location of the forest land. Starting this year, applications can also be submitted online through the Forestry-in Integrated Portal.

County Governor Son Byung-bok stated, “To ensure no forestry operators are excluded from the benefits of the forestry direct payment, we ask that applicants verify their eligibility and required documents in advance and submit their applications within the designated period.”
