Dong-Eui Institute of Technology established an organic alliance with the Railroad Special Judicial Police on the 21st and signed a government-academia cooperation agreement for the exchange of knowledge and information necessary for institutional resources and the development of local talent.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dong-Eui Institute of Technology President Kim Young-do, Industry-Academic Cooperation Group Director Lee Hwa-seok, Planning Office Director Kim Kyung-hwa, Department Head of Police Security Administration Lee Byung-gyu, Professors Park Yoon-ki and Ok Kyung-sook, Railroad Special Judicial Police Captain Do Jeong-seok, Busan Regional Railroad Police Captain Woo Ji-hoon, Operations Support Manager Ahn Hong-chan, and Investigation Department Manager Lee Dong-hoon.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲support for field training and employment of outstanding students from related departments (fields) ▲joint development and education of major curricula ▲cooperation in work related to industry-commissioned education ▲mutual provision of information and research materials ▲mutual use of facilities and equipment.
In particular, during the signing ceremony held at the Dong-Eui Institute of Technology gymnasium, demonstrations were conducted including the introduction of portable explosive detection equipment by the Railroad Special Judicial Police and a drug detection demonstration by a drug detection dog.
President Kim Young-do of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology stated, “To cultivate outstanding talent, both institutions will continuously strive not only to expand mutual exchanges but also to discover ways for sustainable development.”
