This project supports cooperatives established under the Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperative Act by covering consulting costs for discovering and revitalizing joint businesses up to 15 million KRW (with a separate 10% cooperative contribution). This year, the project is divided into joint business fields and research & development (R&D) project planning fields.

Cooperatives wishing to receive support for joint business development professional consulting should form a consortium with a consulting firm, prepare a business execution plan, and apply to the Collaboration Business Office of the Korea Federation of SMEs. Detailed information can be found on the Korea Federation of SMEs website.

Jin-Hyung Cho, Head of the Cooperative Division at the Korea Federation of SMEs, said, “In the case of the Korea Gas Sales Cooperative Federation, which participated in the professional consulting project, the establishment of the ‘LPG Safety Inspection Activation Plan’ using mobile technology has greatly helped manage the safety inspection history of small LPG storage tanks and prevent safety accidents for small and medium enterprises.” He added, “We hope that through this consulting support, various business models that can enhance the competitiveness and revitalization of cooperatives will be developed.”
