Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) held the "1st Maintenance Project Academy" on the 22nd to help understand various maintenance projects related to reconstruction and redevelopment.

This training was prepared to enhance basic understanding of complex maintenance projects. It aims to provide accurate information to association stakeholders and residents, prevent conflicts arising during the project process, and facilitate smooth progress.

About 200 people attended the event, filling the district office auditorium. The lecture was delivered by Eun-sook Lee, CEO of Real Plan Consulting, who shared the definition, characteristics, types, and differences of maintenance projects based on her many years of rich field experience.

In particular, the session attracted attention by introducing the Rapid Integrated Planning and Moa Town, which are major issues in urban development. The easy-to-understand explanations about project-related procedures, regulations, and special notes received positive responses from participants.

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "We are swiftly promoting various housing policies to create a pleasant residential environment where everyone wants to live," adding, "We will strive to provide systematic educational opportunities to resolve residents' questions and minimize disputes."

The Gwangjin-gu Maintenance Project Academy operates quarterly. It guides practical matters step-by-step, such as association establishment methods, district designation, project implementation approval, and liquidation.

Additionally, plans are in place to conduct "visiting resident briefings" and "customized consultations" for deeper understanding.
