Declared on Facebook: "I will propose the Han Dong-hoon Special Prosecutor Act"
Jo Guk, leader of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, stated to Han Dong-hoon, emergency committee chairman of the People Power Party, "Stop wasting your energy slandering the Jo Guk Innovation Party and prepare to be investigated."
On the 23rd, Jo opened his Facebook post by saying, "After the April 10 general election, the Jo Guk Innovation Party promised the public to propose the 'Han Dong-hoon Special Prosecutor Act'." He continued, "Some members of the People Power Party are expected to support it when it passes the National Assembly plenary session," and added, "It is also expected that President Yoon Seok-yeol will not exercise his veto after the plenary session passes." He concluded the post by saying, "Han Dong-hoon, emergency committee chairman, should stop wasting energy slandering the Jo Guk Innovation Party and prepare to be investigated."

Earlier, Jo held a press conference at the National Assembly and announced that the Jo Guk Innovation Party would propose the 'Han Dong-hoon Special Prosecutor Act' as its first pledge for the general election.
He explained, "This is to bring an early end to the prosecutorial dictatorship regime and to realize judicial justice," and claimed, "It is an act that follows the people's order to ensure that Han Dong-hoon, the crown prince of the prosecutorial dictatorship who has not undergone a proper investigation despite suspicions of various crimes, is investigated fairly like ordinary people."
The 'Han Dong-hoon Special Prosecutor Act' proposed by Jo mainly covers two issues. One concerns the suspicion of 'accusation solicitation,' where the prosecution allegedly ordered the filing of complaints against pro-government figures such as Yoo Si-min, then chairman of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation, ahead of the April 2020 general election. The other involves investigating whether there was abuse of authority and neglect of duty related to the Ministry of Justice's decision to abandon an appeal after losing a lawsuit in the appellate court concerning the two-month suspension disciplinary action against Yoon Seok-yeol during his tenure as Prosecutor General.
Additionally, Jo continues to point out issues such as Han Dong-hoon's long mobile phone password setting and allegations of his children's admission irregularities.
On the 22nd, Jo responded sharply to Han Dong-hoon, who criticized them as "extremists," by saying, "Rather, Yoon Seok-yeol, Kim Geon-hee, and Han Dong-hoon are the extremists." In an interview with Jeju media outlets, he said, "The very term 'extremist forces' is utterly unacceptable," and asked, "Did we commit terrorism or assassination?"
Meanwhile, Jo is running in this general election as number 2 on the proportional representation list of the Jo Guk Innovation Party. The party received number 9 on the proportional representation ballot. Currently visiting Jeju, Jo plans to visit the April 3 Peace Park for a memorial in the morning and then campaign at Jeju Dongmun Market.
