Nonsan City in Chungnam announced on the 22nd that about 42,000 tourists visited on the first day of the 'Nonsan Strawberry Festival,' held in the Citizen's Park area on the 21st.
During this year's festival, the largest rotary-wing aircraft exhibition in South Korea is being held, with the number of helicopters on display increased from 6 last year to 8. Helicopter rides will be available for three days starting from this day.

Especially, the newly introduced Strawberry Science Kids Zone at this year's festival received great responses from family visitors, as children’s eyes lit up learning about various scientific principles using materials such as extreme cold, light, and hydrogen. The city analyzed that applying programs based on prior understanding of visitors' needs was successful.
In addition, a video of the 'Nonsan Overseas Agricultural and Food Expo' held last month in Bangkok, Thailand, was broadcasted, reinforcing the festival as a global event.
