SBXG Appoints Lim Jeong-hyun, Vice President of Four by Four, as New CEO

Esports culture content company SBXG, which leads the professional gaming team ‘FearX,’ announced on the 22nd that it has appointed Lim Jeong-hyun, Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of 4by4, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

New CEO Lim Jeong-hyun is an expert who has established and executed various growth strategies to enhance corporate value. He plans to effectively operate SBXG’s esports team 'FearX,' esports culture space business, and game-specialized MCN (RollQ) business. He will establish and implement new business strategies, including actively commercializing differentiated game culture content to strengthen profitability.

CEO Lim said, "SBXG is an esports content company with a well-balanced portfolio of online and offline businesses. Through precise approaches and management from a business perspective, we will achieve not only continuous growth but also profitability improvement."

He added, "While maximizing SBXG’s corporate efficiency, we also plan to strengthen the company’s unique innovation and management legacy. Notably, we will continue to reinforce efforts to expand the game culture base, such as the ‘BESPN’ project, an esports ecosystem construction initiative based in Busan, promoted in collaboration with Busan City and the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education."

CEO Lim previously worked as a strategy consultant at Deloitte and held positions at Dongawon Future Strategy Office, SK Holdings SUPEX Council, and Facebook. He also served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Highconcy and Vice President at Riiid. After his appointment as SBXG CEO, Lim will concurrently serve as CSO of 4by4, fostering synergy through cooperation between the two companies.
