The Innovation Committee was established to build a sustainable social contribution business system and related networks for LH. Through the committee's diagnosis and advice, LH will establish the direction of its unique social contribution brand.
Former UN Ambassador Oh Jun was appointed as the Chair of the Innovation Committee. Chair Oh previously served as South Korea's Ambassador to the United Nations and as Chair of the UN Economic and Social Council, and currently serves as the President of the Korea Council of Child Organizations. The Innovation Committee consists of a total of 11 members, including external members with extensive experience in academia, the legal profession, and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) management in public institutions.
Based on the Innovation Committee, LH will respond to various social issues such as housing problems and low birthrate with LH's own expertise. Additionally, this year, LH will prepare and operate sustainable nationwide social contribution programs.
LH President Lee Han-jun said, "The launch of this committee is the first step toward systematic social contribution efforts," adding, "We will continue to discover areas where LH can contribute and strive to fulfill our social responsibilities."
Meanwhile, last year, LH set three major social contribution directions: national housing safety, low birthrate response, and creating a happy society. To solve social problems and enhance public satisfaction, LH operated various programs such as improving housing environments for 'Veteran Heroes' and supporting 'Reclusive Individuals.'
