Heerim Architects & Planners (hereinafter Heerim) announced on the 21st that it has signed a design service contract worth 23.8 billion KRW with the Apgujeong 3 District Reconstruction Maintenance Project Association in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The amount corresponds to 10.43% of last year's sales.

The Heerim consortium (Heerim·UNStudio·Now Dongin) was finally selected as the designer through a member vote last December. They proposed an innovative design exclusively for Apgujeong 3 District with the determination to create a landmark representing Korea.
In particular, the main building’s innovative design, which has completed copyright registration, allows every household to have a direct view of the Han River from the living room and master bedroom. To overcome the drawback of seeing inside neighboring units, the angle between units was widened to 105 degrees to emphasize privacy. The complex’s entrance welcome center and the gallery, which is a modern reinterpretation of Apgujeongji in the center of the complex, were introduced throughout the apartment with innovative designs.
A Heerim official said, "We will realize Apgujeong 3 District as a differentiated landmark through Han River waterfront specialized design representing Korea and the industry’s best high-end residential facility design capabilities."
