On the morning of the 21st, Lee visited the Yeonggwang County Election Commission to complete his candidate registration.

Ahead of this general election, when Representative Lee Gae-ho was nominated unopposed in the Democratic Party primary, Lee Seok-hyung requested a reconsideration. The reconsideration committee requested a three-person primary to the central party, but ultimately Representative Lee was nominated unopposed. In response, Lee Seok-hyung decided to run as an independent candidate under the banner of "breaking vested interest politics."

On the afternoon of the 23rd, he plans to hold the inauguration ceremony of the election campaign committee and the appointment letter awarding ceremony.

Lee said, "With the passionate support of the county residents, I will definitely win," and added, "I will break vested interest politics and completely transform our region."

Meanwhile, candidate Lee Seok-hyung was born in Hakgyo-myeon, Hampyeong County, and served three terms as Hampyeong County Governor. He also served as the president of the Korea Forest Cooperatives Federation for two terms and is recognized for his innovative qualities represented by the 'Butterfly Festival,' his nationwide network, and his hands-on problem-solving approach.
