Qoo10's Technology Subsidiary Geosis Changes Name to 'Qoo10 Technology'

Promoting Growth as a Specialized SI Company in E-commerce

Qoo10 announced on the 21st that its technology subsidiary, Geosis, will change its name to Qoo10 Technology. Geosis is an IT subsidiary responsible for platform planning and solution development for its parent company, Qoo10. By changing its name to Qoo10 Technology, Geosis plans to strengthen the identity of the Qoo10 group companies and evolve into a differentiated e-commerce specialized SI (System Integration) company.


Qoo10 Technology plans to focus its capabilities on the global platform integration of Qoo10 as well as the expansion of various commerce solutions. It will lead the system integration of the Qoo10 Group, which has become a global marketplace through the acquisition of North America and Europe-based 'Wish', and expand Qoo10's seller system 'QSM' as an affiliated platform to provide sellers with opportunities to sell to customers worldwide.

Based on SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions, it will also create new business opportunities. The advertising solution 'Smart AD', first applied to TMON, will be expanded to all Qoo10 affiliated platforms to help sellers sell their products, while supporting various businesses expecting global marketing efficiency by linking it with various external platforms.


Kim Hyo-jong, CEO of Qoo10 Technology, said, "We will advance the platform technology base that connects sellers and consumers worldwide in step with Qoo10, which has become a global digital commerce platform," adding, "We plan to create various business opportunities by leveraging the expertise of an IT specialized company that has independently operated a global commerce platform."
