The U.S. government will provide Intel with approximately $20 billion (about 27 trillion won) in total funding, including a subsidy of about $8.5 billion (11.4 trillion won) under the Chips Act.
According to major foreign media such as AFP on the 20th (local time), the White House stated in a press release that "the Department of Commerce has tentatively agreed to provide Intel with up to $8.5 billion in direct funding and $11 billion in loans under the Chips Act."
