HanmiGlobal D&I Unveils BI for Senior Housing Brand 'Simphonia'

115 Households in Wirye... Operations to Begin in March Next Year

HanmiGlobal unveiled the brand identity (BI) of its senior residence brand 'Symphonia' (SYMPONIA) on the 20th.

HanmiGlobal's real estate development subsidiary, HanmiGlobal D&I, plans to supply the first Symphonia (115 units) in Wirye New Town, Songpa-gu, Seoul, which has good accessibility to the Gangnam area. It targets upper-middle-income seniors and aims to complete construction by the end of this year and start operations in March next year.

Symphonia maintains a connection with HanmiGlobal D&I's existing apartment brand 'Maestro' (MAESTRO) while embodying the meaning of a place where the experiences and wisdom of the new age group in the aging era, the 'active seniors,' come together. The name is inspired by 'Symphony,' meaning orchestral music. The brand slogan is set as 'Build your own story,' meaning to create your own precious story at Symphonia.

Wirye Symphonia is located in the center of Wirye New Town, offering excellent infrastructure and accessibility to major areas of Seoul. The company also explained that a walking trail linked to the Human Ring, a symbol of Wirye New Town, has been prepared. The architectural design involved Kim Young-se, CEO of Inno Design, who is regarded as a master in industrial design. CEO Kim designed the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics torch, Samsung Electronics' Garobonung mobile phone, and LG Electronics' Dios refrigerator.

In terms of services, in line with recent trends toward luxury, plans include concierge services that take care of residents' overall convenience and various ancillary facilities. A restaurant offering healthy meals at all times and various healthcare services and health programs will support the vibrant lives of active seniors. In particular, programs linked with the Serotonin Culture Center of psychiatrist Dr. Lee Si-hyung, who first introduced the existence of the happiness hormone 'serotonin' in Korea, will also be introduced. Rental fees are expected to be set at a relatively reasonable level.

Choi Deok-bae, Executive Director of the Development Business Division at HanmiGlobal D&I, said, "Starting with the unveiling of the Symphonia BI, we plan to open a model house exhibition hall for Wirye Symphonia in the first half of the year and begin recruiting residents. We will provide customized premium senior residence services, including various community activities reflecting residents' opinions in the future."
