Genie Music is expanding its concert business along with securing performance IP.

On the 20th, Genie Music announced plans to hold domestic and overseas tour concerts starting in June with 12 vocal group artists who emerged from fierce competition on Mnet’s ‘Build-Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival’ (hereinafter ‘Build-Up’).

Build-Up is a vocal boy group project jointly participated in by Genie Music, CJ ENM, and Orca Music. Since its first broadcast at the end of January, it has been attracting attention daily and airs every Friday at 10:10 PM.

The artists have currently entered the 4th round of competition. Amid intense competition, 20 out of 40 challengers were selected, and on the 9th episode airing on the 22nd, the top three 4-member vocal groups (12 members) will be finalized through a new song competition featuring famous K-pop producers including BTS producer Pdogg, producing team 1601 (Jung Seunghyun, Park Taehyun), and PRISMFILTER.

Genie Music plans to hold live concerts domestically and internationally with the 12 artists from the top three teams finally selected in Build-Up. The first concert, ‘2024 Build-Up Concert,’ will be held on June 8 at BEXCO Auditorium in Busan. Following that, the newly formed vocal boy group concert will be held on June 15 at the SK Handball Stadium in Olympic Park, Seoul. Tickets will be sold exclusively on Interpark starting March 25. Genie Music is also preparing to hold the ‘2024 Build-Up Concert’ in overseas regions such as Japan.
