Baek Jong-han, a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Council, demanded the expansion of senior leisure facilities and programs tailored to the demands of the aging era during his 5-minute free speech at the 2nd plenary session of the 320th extraordinary meeting held on the 20th.

He continued, "In later life, interaction with various people and participation in social activities serve as the foundation for maintaining physical and mental health," and emphasized, "Senior leisure welfare facilities should be operated according to the needs of their users," urging the establishment of measures such as spatial reallocation in response to the surge in users at the recently opened Seobitmaru Senior Center.
Additionally, Councilor Baek pointed out issues with the temporary parking lot for Seobitmaru Center users and requested thorough measures to ensure convenience and safety in parking spaces.
