The 'Creating a Walkable Communication Theme Road' is a campaign promise of the 8th local government administration, aiming to select themes according to the characteristics of the road so that it becomes a path people want to revisit, thereby leading to the revitalization of the local economy.

As the first step and the basic plan for the phased creation of the theme road, the 'Master Plan Establishment Service for Creating a Walkable Communication Theme Road' was held with a final report meeting on the 22nd of last month after 10 months. According to the service result report, a total budget of 5 billion won is expected to be spent to create five sections.

Councilor Ahn pointed out, "Despite the extension of the service period to specify the project details, it is questionable whether the service was established with a vision and promotion direction suitable for the communication theme road." He claimed, "If the heads and managers of the department, who should manage and supervise the start and end of the project, fail to properly carry out their duties, the employees actually in charge of the project become confused and their workload increases."

He continued, "Much attention is needed to ensure that poor research services do not occur again," and added, "I hope the executive branch will thoroughly manage and supervise so that the residents' taxes are not wasted."
