Polaris Office announced on the 20th that it has signed a supply contract with Japan's Sourcenext for the 'Office AI (Artificial Intelligence) Software Cloud Service' in the Japanese market. Sourcenext is a software company listed on the Prime market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, where global companies are concentrated.

Sourcenext plans to launch the cloud-based subscription services 'Polaris Office Pro' and 'Polaris Office AI' in the Japanese market in the second quarter of this year. Polaris Office aims to secure a leading position in the AI office market within Japan's software industry and strengthen its status as a global AI cloud company.

Tomoaki Kojima, CEO of Sourcenext, stated, "Polaris Office products have high compatibility with Microsoft (MS) Office, which results in strong demand. Since the market response to the previously released standalone products has been positive, we expect an expansion in sales of cloud subscription products that allow reasonable use of generative AI functions."

Ji Jun-kyung, CEO of Polaris Office, said, "With the emergence of generative AI, Polaris Office, which has 128 million global users based on the cloud, holds a competitive advantage. We plan to expand the currently released AI products into on-device or B2B (business-to-business) product lines with enhanced security features to drive revenue growth."
