SGA, a company specializing in the construction of education-focused information systems (CEO Choi Young-cheol), announced on the 20th that it will hold the second project briefing session for the Korea Sports Council Sports Club Integrated Information System Construction (1st year) at the LW Convention.
The briefing session is scheduled to be held on the 22nd, providing a thorough explanation of the project plan for system construction and gathering as much feedback as possible from actual users and sports officials. With the participation of practical staff, it is expected to enhance the usability of the system more efficiently in the workplace.
This project briefing session follows the first online briefing held on November 24 last year and will be conducted as the second offline briefing to listen to the opinions of actual users.
Since the Sports Club Act was enforced in June 2022, the construction and operation of an integrated information system have become mandatory, necessitating the establishment of an information service system to comprehensively manage information related to sports clubs and systematically support members' sports activities.
SGA is currently undertaking the construction of three major systems aimed at establishing an information service system to comprehensively manage information related to sports clubs and systematically support members' sports activities: the Sports Club Administrative Support System, the Competition Operation Management System, and the Integrated Management System.
In particular, the system is being built as the first cloud-native framework-based platform in the public sector. The system was designed to be convenient and easy to operate even for non-IT professionals, and compared to physical servers, it offers easier and more flexible performance and capacity expansion.
It enhances stability by enabling rapid response to server errors and failures and promotes efficient policy implementation through administrative linkage with related organizations. The system, which also applies Mobile WEB (responsive WEB), is scheduled to be completed in May and piloted in June.
SGA CEO Choi Young-cheol stated, “By providing information on sports clubs tailored to the public, we will continuously strive to make management and access easier,” adding, “We hope that the operation of the system will serve as an opportunity to expand the base of sports and strengthen support for both recreational and professional sports.”
