Support up to 80% of the cost
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province is supporting an environmental improvement project for aging facilities in public hygiene businesses within the jurisdiction.
The city has been implementing this project since 2021, and this year plans to select 20 establishments in the bathhouse, lodging, and beauty sectors.
The support covers improvements to the exterior environment such as building facades, interior renovation work, and replacement of outdated equipment. Selected businesses will receive up to 80% of the environmental improvement costs within a limit of 2 million KRW. However, 20% of the costs must be borne by the business owner.
Applicants can refer to the announcement on the Pyeongtaek City Hall website and apply to the City Food Policy Division or the Environmental Hygiene Divisions of Songtan and Anjung Branch Offices by the 18th of next month.
A city official stated, "We aim to create a pleasant and hygienic environment for visitors through the improvement of aging facilities."
