Namdong-gu, Incheon is recruiting participants for the 'Pharmacy Clerk Training Course' to support employment for women with career interruptions.
This employment support program targets women with career interruptions and middle-aged women, providing not only vocational training for pharmacy clerks but also linking to employment support.
The training course combines theory and field practice to help participants overcome their fear of the workplace and regain confidence in finding employment. Additionally, in cooperation with the Namdong-gu Pharmacists Association, stable pharmacy job placements have been secured to assist with employment.
The recruitment target is women with career interruptions residing in Namdong-gu, and applications can be submitted to the Incheon Women's Human Resources Development Center by the 22nd of next month. The district will select 15 trainees through document screening and interviews, and conduct vocational training for about two months starting in May.
In particular, to prevent dropout and unemployment during the training course, employment willingness and proactiveness will be the main focus during interviews. To prevent mid-course withdrawal, the Namdong-gu Pharmacists Association will also collaborate to improve employee treatment and satisfaction.
Park Jonghyo, Mayor of Namdong-gu, said, "Pharmacies will be able to hire optimized talent, and residents will find quality jobs, leading to higher employment outcomes," adding, "We will actively promote policies that can realize the social value of women with career interruptions and expand their participation in economic activities."
