Lotte Outlet Namaak Branch conducted a major cleaning activity by visiting vulnerable households in the area on the 20th.
On this day, the Charlotte Volunteer Group of Lotte Outlet Namaak visited a household of an 86-year-old elderly person living alone in Yonghae-dong, Mokpo City, and worked hard on major cleaning activities such as disposing of household waste and removing dust.
The subject of this activity was a household exposed to hygiene issues due to neglected waste, as the resident suffers from an intellectual disability and has difficulty moving, making urgent assistance necessary.
Along with the cleaning activity, disinfection was carried out in the living space for the elderly person's hygiene management, and a cordless vacuum cleaner was donated for convenient use.
The major cleaning activity for vulnerable households, now in its third year, is a representative social contribution program of Lotte Outlet Namaak, conducted once in the first half and once in the second half of the year.
Kim Dae-hong, manager of Lotte Outlet Namaak, said, "I am grateful to be able to visit and help the elderly who are going through difficulties," and added, "We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities for vulnerable groups in the community."
