Recruitment of Affordable Price Businesses for 3 Weeks from the 20th to April 9... Various Incentives Provided Including Consumable Supplies Support and Promotion on District Office Website
Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it will recruit new 'Good Price Businesses' for the first half of 2024 over a three-week period from the 20th to April 9th.
'Good Price Businesses' are establishments that provide consumer satisfaction through affordable prices and pleasant service. They are designated and managed by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and local governments to stabilize prices. Currently, a total of 30 such businesses are designated in Eunpyeong-gu.
The recruitment targets are personal service industries such as dining and beauty businesses located in Eunpyeong-gu. However, businesses that have received administrative sanctions within the last two years, have unpaid local taxes, are corporations or franchises, or have been operating for less than six months are excluded.
Those wishing to apply should refer to the announcement posted in the notice section on the Eunpyeong-gu Office website, then bring the application form and required documents to the Eunpyeong-gu Job and Economy Division in person, or submit them via the responsible officer’s email or fax.
After on-site inspections considering factors such as affordability compared to the average price of good price menus, hygiene and cleanliness, public interest, and disqualifications, businesses meeting the designation criteria will be finally selected in April.
Selected businesses will receive incentives such as certification plaques and customized consumable support. They will also be promoted on the district office website, SNS, and the Good Price Businesses website.
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, “We express our gratitude to businesses that provide services at affordable prices despite the difficult local economy caused by rising prices,” and added, “We hope many will apply as we plan to continue offering benefits to Good Price Businesses.”
