Expectations for Improved Quality of Life for Vulnerable Groups in Uljin-gun
On the 19th, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters celebrated its 23rd anniversary by donating 972 million KRW to the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea for the Neighborly Love Happiness Sharing Fund.

This donation was raised from 195 million KRW of Love Fund voluntarily contributed by Hanul Headquarters employees and 777 million KRW from business support project funds. It will be used to support facility operation programs at 15 social welfare institutions in Uljin-gun, improve housing environments for vulnerable groups, and support activities of outstanding local volunteer organizations.
Director Lee Seyong of the headquarters said, “I hope the Hanul Headquarters donation will serve as a foundation to improve the quality of life for neighbors in need within the jurisdiction through various projects and welfare programs. We will continue to promote diverse social contribution activities for neighbors who are struggling around us.”
In response, Son Byungil, Secretary General of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea, said, “The donation you have delivered will be a great help to neighbors around us. We thank Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters and its employees for their unwavering support to low-income youth, multicultural families, nursing facilities, and other neighbors.”
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters has donated approximately 3 billion KRW to the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea so far and is leading efforts to improve the quality of life for vulnerable groups in the Uljin area.
