CJ OliveNetworks Partners with Adverb for Robot and Logistics Automation

CJ OliveNetworks announced on the 20th that it has formed a strategic partnership with global robot and logistics automation equipment company Adverb Technology to strengthen its smart manufacturing logistics business.

Founded in 2016, Adverb is a logistics automation solution company that provides AI-based logistics automation solutions. In particular, its AI-based solutions and software specialized in global e-commerce, distribution, and manufacturing are considered strengths. Major clients include DHL, Coca-Cola, Amazon, and Siemens, and through this partnership, Adverb will enter the Korean market for the first time.

CJ OliveNetworks is expanding its business in the smart manufacturing logistics sector based on extensive business experience accumulated from CJ CheilJedang and CJ Logistics.

With this partnership with Adverb, CJ OliveNetworks plans to expand its business scope beyond software and solution-centered areas to include operational technology (OT) and hardware, targeting the smart manufacturing logistics market. The company expects to provide comprehensive smart manufacturing logistics services tailored to customer needs by integrating Adverb’s mobile robots, sorting robots, picking equipment, and the software technology that controls them.

Additionally, both companies will cooperate in smart manufacturing logistics design and construction, sales expansion, marketing, and technical support using online and offline channels. Specific details of the collaboration will be unveiled at the '2024 Smart Factory & Automation Industry Exhibition' held from the 27th to the 29th of this month.
