Cheil Worldwide has reclaimed its position as Asia's number one advertising company after three years.

Launched in 1999, the WARC Creative 100 ranking is considered one of the most credible indicators evaluating the creative capabilities of global advertising companies. It converts the previous year's major global advertising awards into scores and publishes creative rankings for advertising companies, campaigns, brands, and countries.
In this year's ranking, Cheil Worldwide ranked 12th among advertising companies worldwide, setting a new highest ranking for a domestic company. The previous highest ranking of 14th place (2019) was also set by Cheil Worldwide. Notably, it secured first place in the Asia region, reclaiming the top spot in Asia for the first time in three years since 2021.
Last year, Cheil Worldwide won the Grand Prix (top prize) at the globally prestigious Cannes Lions for the first time in 10 years, while also receiving over 130 main awards at global advertising festivals such as D&AD and The One Show. This represents an increase of more than 25% compared to the previous year, reflecting the positive evaluation of various campaigns conducted by the headquarters, overseas subsidiaries, and overseas affiliates.
In the campaign rankings, the 'Knock knock' campaign, a collaboration between Cheil Worldwide headquarters and the National Police Agency that introduced a silent 112 emergency call system, ranked 4th among advertising campaigns worldwide. This is the first time since the launch of WARC's creative ranking that an advertising marketing campaign conducted in Korea has been selected in the top 5 of the campaign rankings.
In addition to the Knock knock campaign, the Spain office's 'Unfear' campaign with Samsung Electronics (21st place) and the Hong Kong office and subsidiary Fung Tai's collaboration on the 'Quest For Dyslexia' campaign (50th place) also ranked within the top 100 campaigns.
Meanwhile, in the country creative rankings, the United States has held first place for 18 consecutive years since 2007. It was followed by France, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Brazil. South Korea rose 15 places from 29th last year to 14th, based on Cheil Worldwide's award-winning achievements including the Knock knock campaign.
A Cheil Worldwide official said, "We plan to continuously present advertising marketing that combines Cheil Worldwide's world-class creative competitiveness proven this time with our data and tech capabilities to provide consumers with optimal brand experiences and drive the business growth of our clients."
