Dongdaemun-gu and Korea Association of Certified Realtors Sign Agreement to Establish Sound Real Estate Transaction Order

Promise of Cooperation on Prevention of Jeonse Fraud and Support for Brokerage Fees for Low-Income Groups on the 18th

Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Ilhyung Lee) strengthened mutual cooperation for establishing a sound real estate transaction order and developing the real estate brokerage industry in Dongdaemun-gu through a business agreement (MOU) with the Dongdaemun-gu branch of the Korea Association of Realtors on the 18th.

The signing ceremony held in the mayor's reception room was attended by Ilhyung Lee, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, Ho Yeongho, President of the Dongdaemun-gu branch of the Korea Association of Realtors, and other association officials.

The agreement includes ▲prevention of jeonse fraud ▲information display system (‘FACE ON’) ▲safe lease contract service for single-person households ▲brokerage fee support for low-income groups ▲support for jeonse insurance premium.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to continue efforts to maintain a safer and healthier real estate transaction environment in Dongdaemun-gu.

Mayor Ilhyung Lee of Dongdaemun-gu stated, “We will do our best to eradicate jeonse fraud and establish a sound real estate transaction order in cooperation with the Korea Association of Realtors, and we will also seek various real estate transaction support measures for socially vulnerable groups.”
