'Former National Baseball Player' Oh Jae-won Arrested by Police on Drug Use Charges

Former professional baseball player and national team member Oh Jae-won was arrested by the police on charges of drug use.

The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on the 19th that Oh was arrested and is being investigated for violating the Narcotics Control Act and other charges.

Earlier, on the 10th, Oh was investigated once for drug charges following a report by a woman who was with him, but he strongly denied the allegations. At that time, the police released Oh after a drug rapid test came back negative.

The police confirmed additional evidence of Oh's drug use, obtained an arrest warrant, and took him into custody on the same day.
