A bus heading from Cheonan, Chungnam to Cheongju International Airport collided with a passenger car and then fell into a nearby ditch, injuring 8 people.

According to the Chungnam Fire Headquarters on the 19th, at around 7:20 a.m., a bus traveling on a national road in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungnam, collided with a passenger car and then fell into a ditch beside the road.

As a result of the accident, the passenger car driver, Mr. A, in his 60s, the bus driver, Mr. B, in his 50s, and six other bus passengers were injured and transported to the hospital.

There were 26 people on board the bus.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on CCTV footage and witness statements, believing that Mr. A attempted a left turn at an unprotected intersection and collided with the oncoming bus.
