Skz Felix Volunteers in Laos During Vacation... Also Donates 100 Million Won

Felix, a member of the group 'Stray Kids' (Stray Kids·Seukijeu), continues to have a positive impact together with UNICEF.

On the 19th, the UNICEF Korea Committee announced that a video of Felix's on-site visit to Laos will be posted three times starting from the 21st on the official YouTube channel of the UNICEF Korea Committee.

The first released video, 'UNICEF Login Laos? Stray Kids Felix Edition,' features various activities and emotions shared by Felix with local children during his visit to Laos last February.

In January of this year, Felix donated 100 million won to the UNICEF Korea Committee to support children in Laos who face growth difficulties due to poor nutrition and water hygiene. He became the youngest ever member of the UNICEF Honors Club and the first member of this year. Additionally, from the 5th of last month, he personally visited UNICEF project sites in Laos for about a week.

During his visit to Laos, Felix participated in activities such as nutritional status checks and providing therapeutic food for malnutrition at UNICEF-supported health centers and schools in the southern Attapeu region, as well as handwashing education, language, dance, and play. Attapeu is a representative marginalized area in Laos, with about 2,000 children suffering from severe malnutrition and facing poor water hygiene issues.

Felix said, "I was able to face the reality of Laotian children, which I could not feel just by seeing photos and reading texts, and I believe that every child should be given the opportunity to live a healthy life. I believe that children who grow up enjoying such opportunities will become adults who support and love children again."

He added, "I was truly happy to be able to pass on the love I received from fans to the children through this opportunity."

The videos documenting Felix's visit to UNICEF Laos will be released every Thursday at 5 p.m. on the official YouTube channel of the UNICEF Korea Committee.
