On the 15th, National Pukyong University signed an agreement with the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education for the '2024 Elementary Integrated After-School Program (Regional Linked Learning Neulbom Program Operating University)'.

With the full expansion of the Neulbom School starting this year, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, National Pukyong University, and other institutions have agreed through this partnership to strengthen cooperation with the local community and education sectors, aiming to diversify educational opportunities and promote balanced educational development.

Under this agreement, National Pukyong University plans to operate programs from this summer vacation for local elementary school students in grades 4 to 6, including a proper posture growth program in the smart healthcare field, futsal sports classes, and marine leisure water safety programs such as swimming, SUP, surfing, and rowing.

To this end, the university will actively utilize its on-campus sports and smart healthcare facilities, and top experts in fields such as sports medicine and biomedical health sciences will provide high-quality, customized, future-oriented programs that foster self-directed core competencies through career-linked education.

Kim Young-hoon, Director of the Sports Promotion Agency, said, “Through this project, we will provide various educational participation opportunities utilizing the university’s excellent educators and specialized facilities, and strive to lay the foundation for nurturing healthy, creative, and convergent talents of the future.”
