Participation of 6 Companies Including Lotte, Hanjin, and LS
The Korea Economic Association announced that Chairman Ryu Jin met with Oliver Dowden, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Colin Crooks, British Ambassador to Korea, and business leaders on the 19th at the FKI Tower in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul to discuss cooperation measures between the two countries.

Six domestic companies attended, including Lotte, Hanjin KAL, LS, Hoban Group, SPC, and SeAH Steel Holdings.
Chairman Ryu shared opinions with Deputy Prime Minister Dowden on economic cooperation measures with the UK. In particular, they discussed promising areas of cooperation between the two countries such as offshore wind power, renewable energy, and infrastructure, and took the opportunity to raise difficulties encountered when entering the UK market.
Deputy Prime Minister Dowden visited Korea to attend the '3rd Summit for Democracy.' He previously met Chairman Ryu during a reception hosted by UK Prime Minister Sunak for the Korean economic delegation during his state visit to the UK last year, where they discussed cooperation between the two countries.
