Operating 3 Times a Week Next Month... Increasing to Daily Service from July
Among domestic low-cost carriers (LCCs), Eastar Jet, the only airline operating the Incheon-Shanghai route, will resume flights on this route after 4 years and 2 months.
Eastar Jet announced on the 19th that it will start operating the Incheon-Shanghai route three times a week (Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays) from the 19th of next month. From July 1, it plans to operate daily, seven times a week.
The flight departs Incheon Airport at 10:30 PM and arrives at Shanghai Pudong Airport at 11:30 PM local time. The return flight from Pudong Airport departs at 12:30 AM local time and arrives at Incheon Airport at 3:30 AM.
Through this route, Eastar Jet has secured its first China route since resuming operations. Currently, Eastar Jet operates 14 routes and plans to launch more than 12 routes this year to Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and other destinations.
An Eastar Jet official said, "We hope more people will enjoy traveling to Shanghai," adding, "As Shanghai is Eastar Jet’s first destination in China, we plan to hold a special promotional sale soon."
