Modu Parking Lot and Naver Launch Partnership Parking Lot Search and Parking Ticket Purchase Service

Socar's online parking platform, Modu Parking, announced on the 19th that it will integrate its partnered parking lot search and parking ticket purchase services with Naver Reservation.

From now on, users can search for available parking lots and purchase Modu Parking tickets on Naver without needing the Modu Parking application or a separate membership registration process. Through the 'Parking' button within Naver Maps, users can find partnered parking lots near their current location or destination. In particular, users can select and purchase parking tickets such as hourly tickets, night tickets, late-night tickets, same-day tickets, and consecutive-day tickets at reasonable prices at Modu Parking partnered lots nationwide.

Customers who want parking lot information and to purchase parking tickets can search for their destination on Naver and Naver Maps, then select available parking tickets near the destination. When purchasing, entering the vehicle number and expected entry time allows entry and exit without separate payment at the parking lot. When paying with Naver Pay, 1% of the amount is automatically accumulated as points, and Naver Plus Membership subscribers receive up to an additional 4% accumulation.

This is the first case of integrating Modu Parking partnered parking ticket purchase services through an external channel. Socar expects significant improvements in user accessibility and convenience.

Jae-wook Park, CEO of Socar, said, "This integration of Modu Parking services is part of the business agreement made last July between Socar and Naver to build the next-generation smart mobility ecosystem," adding, "We will do our best to provide users with a more convenient and smart mobility ecosystem based on artificial intelligence (AI), technology, and mobility data."

Meanwhile, Modu Parking is a parking platform that has provided services such as parking lot information guidance, parking partnerships, and smart parking since 2013, with 7.1 million app downloads and a cumulative membership of 4 million. Currently, it offers information on 60,000 parking lots nationwide, 18,000 shared parking lots, and about 2,700 partnered parking lots.
