Ministry of Industry's 'Digital Collaborative Factory Construction Technology Development Project'

Management consulting firm JY&Company announced on the 19th that it has been selected as one of the six consortia for the 'Large, Medium, and Small Digital Collaborative Factory Construction Technology Development Project.'
Supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and with the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) participating as a specialized agency, this project aims to design and build platform services to facilitate the joint use of industrial data among collaborating companies.
The project is carried out in two phases. JY&Company was chosen as the phase 2 operator. Over 24 months, it will undertake digital transformation (DX) consulting work together with automobile parts manufacturer Woosujeonggi. The Woosujeonggi consortium includes three demand companies, one DX consulting firm, and two solution companies.

JY&Company was founded in 2014 by former partners from global consulting firms such as Deloitte and IBM. It primarily provides consulting services to major domestic large corporations. Since 2020, it has expanded its business scope to participate in government-led support projects for medium and small enterprises, led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
A representative of JY&Company stated, "We will actively expand projects related to supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, including digital transformation and collaborative factory business strategy establishment and platform design."
