The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Korea Land and Housing Corporation (hereinafter LH) announced on the 19th that they will hold a public participation-type small-scale housing maintenance project contest from March 21 to May 20.
The public participation-type small-scale housing maintenance project refers to a project where public entities such as LH and the private sector jointly promote small-scale housing maintenance projects, and LH provides administrative consulting such as approval for the establishment of associations and design analysis.
Residents or associations wishing to apply can submit resident consent forms and project plans to the LH regional headquarters during the contest period, and LH plans to comprehensively evaluate the resident consent rate and select the public participation-type project districts.
Detailed information about the contest, including application methods and submission documents, can be found on the LH website.
If selected as a public participation project site, more than 50% of the total project cost will be supported by the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) at a low interest rate of 1.9% per annum.
In addition, LH and other public institutions will provide comprehensive consulting for rapid project progress, including administrative procedures such as association establishment and building review, as well as project feasibility analysis.
