Sancheong-gun Officially Launches 'Year of Sancheong Visit' Campaign

Taking the First Step with a Practical Council Meeting
Discovering Projects Leveraging Departmental Expertise

Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, has taken the first step to promote the "Year of Visit Sancheong."

On the 18th, Sancheong-gun held a "Working Council for the Successful Promotion of the Year of Visit Sancheong" in the large conference room of the county office.

The Sancheong County Sancheong Visit Year Practical Council is being held.

Presided over by Deputy Governor Han Mi-young, the working council was attended by department heads and heads of bureaus and divisions. The council formed a working committee and exchanged ideas and opinions to discover various detailed projects utilizing the expertise of each department.

Following the successful hosting of the 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo, Sancheong-gun plans to designate the "Year of Visit Sancheong" to continuously attract tourists and revitalize tourism, promoting 20 projects across four sectors.

In particular, by the end of this year, the county plans to expand tourism content by developing a tourism brand, producing promotional videos, and holding a proclamation ceremony to create an atmosphere for the "Year of Visit Sancheong."

Deputy Governor Han said, "I ask all departments to take an interest and push forward projects so that Sancheong can leap forward as Korea's representative wellness tourism city through the Year of Visit Sancheong," adding, "We will do our best to improve tourism readiness and develop diverse tourism content."
