This agreement was established to promote the digital transformation of small business owners in Changwon who are facing difficulties in IT infrastructure and resource procurement, by implementing automation solutions at self-employed business sites and revitalizing the local commercial district.

Through this agreement, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry will engage in fostering smart small business owners by providing intellectual property-based management consulting, trademark application consulting, and intellectual property education. The Gyeongnam Credit Guarantee Foundation will support credit guarantees for operating funds of small business owners in the province who are establishing store automation systems and equipment. Woori Distribution and Payhere plan to continuously operate experiential events where small business owners in the province can experience the spread and effects of solutions tailored to their store environments.

Chairman Choi emphasized, “Due to recent difficulties in the regional economy, consumption has contracted, and it is inevitable that attracting customers will continue to be challenging with traditional operating methods. In the digital era, it is necessary to provide services that meet consumers’ expectations, and to solve the problem of labor shortages, a transition to convenient and smart systems is required.”

Meanwhile, Payhere provides kiosk, table order, and serving robot solutions that are linked in real time with POS systems, and as of February this year, it has surpassed 50,000 franchise stores nationwide. Interested local small business owners can inquire via KakaoTalk through Woori Distribution.
