"Utilizing AI Data to Deliver Innovative Customer Experiences"
Proposal for 'Life Style Curation' Service
Park Jung-min, CEO of SK Stoa, held his first town hall meeting since taking office and announced plans to strengthen personalized services using artificial intelligence (AI) to respond to the challenging home shopping market.
According to SK Stoa on the 18th, CEO Park held a town hall meeting with 300 employees at the headquarters in Sangam-dong on the 15th. At the meeting, Park emphasized, "In the TV home shopping business, where the optimal products must be sold within a limited time, maximizing efficiency is crucial," adding, "We will strengthen communication based on data and personalized services utilizing AI."

CEO Park stated that as the home shopping market is shrinking and profitability continues to deteriorate due to increased broadcasting fees, the importance of data inevitably grows. As SK’s leading commerce operator, data, a core resource of the ICT group companies, can be a powerful weapon to gain a competitive edge in the fierce distribution market. Park said, “Providing customers with optimized personalized services, at the right time, and swiftly delivering an ‘overwhelming customer experience innovation’ is essential.”
On this day, CEO Park also stressed the need to offer a 'Life Style Curation' service that provides new experiences to keep customers engaged on the platform. To achieve this, he urged the internalization of an ‘Outside-In’ approach based on a fast and strong ‘One Team’ organizational culture. ‘Outside-In’ is a strategy that prioritizes customer value by thinking from the customer’s perspective first.
Park Jung-min stated, “I believe SK Stoa is at a decisive moment this year to turn things around,” and added, “If we strengthen our fundamental competitiveness, provide customers with differentiated commerce experiences, and approach them sincerely, this will be a year of great resurgence once again.”
