Hunezion Achieves Industry-First Cloud Security Certification Standard Grade for Interconnection

Hunezion, a specialized information security software company, announced on the 18th that its network interconnection solution i-oneNet has become the first in the network interconnection industry to obtain the Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) standard grade certification from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

CSAP (Cloud Security Assurance Program) is a cloud service security certification system that evaluates and certifies compliance with security standards to alleviate users' security concerns when adopting cloud services. It is an essential requirement for supplying safe and reliable cloud security services to national and public institutions.

In particular, the Software as a Service (SaaS) standard grade certification obtained by Hunezion is a higher-level certification that requires evaluation of a total of 79 control items across 13 fields. Compared to the simplified grade with 31 control items, it demands a higher level of security, including asset management and service supply chain management.

The network interconnection solution i-oneNet provides safe service and file linkage functions between separated networks and protects internal business networks from security threats. Through this cloud security certification, the safety and security of cloud-based services have been verified.

i-oneNet is Hunezion’s flagship product and has ranked first in the market for nine consecutive years based on public procurement sales (procurement details of specific items from the Procurement Information Open Portal).

Recently, the public cloud market has been energized as the government promotes the adoption of private cloud in the public sector and SaaS-based business innovation to realize the Digital Platform Government. This year, the Digital Platform Government project budget has nearly doubled from the previous year to 926.2 billion KRW, including investments to foster the cloud industry such as the SaaS Innovation Fund to revitalize the SaaS-centered cloud ecosystem.
