RaonSecure Provides IT Security Practice Service to Yonsei University, Chungbuk National University, Seoul Women's University, and Howon University

RaonSecure is accelerating the expansion of its "Raon Metademy" project, the world's first metaverse-based practical training service, focusing on major universities in Korea.

RaonSecure, an IT security and authentication platform company (CEOs Lee Soon-hyung and Lee Jung-ah, 042510), has signed IT security practical training service supply contracts for "Raon Metademy" with four universities: Yonsei University, Chungbuk National University, Seoul Women’s University, and Howon University. "Raon Metademy" will be applied directly to the IT security-related curricula of these four universities starting from the current first semester.

"Raon Metademy," supplied by RaonSecure, consists of differentiated practical content that allows simultaneous theoretical and practical learning of major IT security courses. Trainees can take IT security practical training tailored to their school curricula anytime and anywhere in a metaverse environment, receiving virtual servers in individual metaverse spaces to learn in a practical environment identical to actual operational servers used in IT security practice.

The major universities that signed the contracts plan to newly add "Raon Metademy" to RaonSecure’s existing practical hacking and security education service "Raon CTF," which is currently used in their IT security education programs. Through this, it is expected that students will have more practical opportunities, significantly enhancing their IT security expertise and proficiency.

"Raon Metademy" is Korea’s only metaverse-based practical training service, providing a realistic practical environment and improving trainees’ concentration and expertise through various functions and data provision. It also enhances the management efficiency of practical content, greatly improving the convenience of content administrators’ work.

Lee Jung-ah, CEO of RaonSecure, said, “With the supply of Raon Metademy to these four universities, we will actively promote the expansion of IT security practical training services to information security and related departments nationwide.” She added, “We will firmly establish Raon Metademy as Korea’s representative metaverse-based practical training service.”

Professor Kim Hyun-jung of Yonsei University said, “Raon Metademy is expected to provide an optimized environment for IT security practice, improving the quality of education.” She added, “We will actively utilize Raon Metademy to further nurture core talents in the security field.”

Professor Yeon Soo-kwon of Chungbuk National University said, “By adding Raon Metademy to the existing 'Raon CTF' used in IT security education, we can further enhance the professionalism of IT security practice.” He added, “We will accelerate talent development in the security field through the use of Raon Metademy.”

Meanwhile, in February, RaonSecure signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Eunpyeong St. Mary’s Hospital of The Catholic University of Korea for a "joint project on medical specialized practical content," starting joint development of metaverse-based practical content in the medical research field. RaonSecure continues to expand its practical content domain, leading the domestic metaverse-based practical training market.
