Samsung Electronics, which has achieved the number one position in the global TV market for 18 consecutive years, has also secured the number one spot in global soundbar sales for 10 consecutive years.
According to market research firm FutureSource on the 18th, Samsung Electronics recorded a 20.3% share in value and an 18.8% share in volume in the global soundbar market last year. It has held the top position for 10 consecutive years since 2014.
Various soundbar products, including last year's flagship 'HW-Q990C,' received positive responses from users. Samsung Electronics stated, "The immersive sound experience, the 'Q Symphony' feature that syncs with Samsung TVs, and convenient connectivity were highly praised."

Global tech media outlets also gave favorable reviews. UK IT media T3 selected the HW-Q990C as the best soundbar of last year along with the Platinum Award, calling it "the product boasting the best surround sound among soundbars." Surround sound is an audio technique that places speakers at the front, sides, and rear, emitting slightly different sounds to create a realistic, live-like audio experience.
UK IT media TechRadar selected the premium soundbar 'HW-Q800C' as the best soundbar of last year.
Samsung Electronics said, "This year, we will strengthen our global soundbar market strategy by introducing new products enhanced with AI-based sound technology and various scenario connectivity."
