Lunit recently signed a supply contract for its chest X-ray AI image analysis solution, Lunit Insight CXR, with Telediac. Established in 2008 by French doctors, Telediac aims to reduce healthcare inequality among vulnerable groups through digital remote technology and to assist faster diagnosis in emergency situations. More than 600 affiliated radiology specialists diagnose over 600,000 patients annually and provide remote diagnostic services to more than 300 partner institutions. During the AI solution adoption process, Telediac compared chest X-ray image analysis solutions from three global companies, including Lunit Insight CXR, and ultimately selected Lunit's product.
Lunit also recently signed a supply contract for its mammography AI image analysis solution, Lunit Insight MMG, with the Central Center of the Portuguese LPCC. Founded in 1941, LPCC is a non-profit organization that provides cancer prevention campaigns, early diagnosis programs, and patient and family support services. It contributes to the Portuguese government's cancer response program and operates five branches across Portugal. This contract was signed with the LPCC Central Center, which operates the national breast screening program in Coimbra, the largest city in the central region.
The LPCC Central Center conducted thorough internal validation of Lunit's AI solution using its own patient data before finalizing the contract with Lunit. Over the next three years, they plan to conduct approximately 100,000 cases annually of the national breast cancer screening program using Lunit Insight MMG.
Seobum Seok, CEO of Lunit, stated, "This supply contract with Western European countries reaffirms our superior technology and product competitiveness compared to competitors. Expanding supply in Europe, where there is high demand for advanced medical services through AI, will play a crucial role in Lunit's leap forward as a global leader in medical AI."
