LG Electronics announced on the 18th that it will launch the premium 4K projector 'LG CineBeam Qube'.
The LG CineBeam Qube (model name: HU710PB) is similar in size to a home mini tissue box (8cm x 13.5cm x 13.5cm) and weighs 1.49kg. Despite its minimal design, it delivers clear 4K (3840×2160) UHD resolution and a massive screen size of up to 120 inches (approximately 305cm diagonal). It meets 154% of the Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) color gamut 'DCI-P3' and supports a contrast ratio of 450,000:1 for accurate color reproduction.
This product features automatic screen and focus adjustment, creating a sharp and perfectly rectangular screen automatically as soon as it is powered on. It is also equipped with an 'RGB laser light source' that uses lasers to reproduce the three primary colors of light. Compared to conventional lamp light sources, it expresses more accurate colors and provides a clearer image even in bright environments. The 'Dynamic Tone Mapping' function divides each scene on the screen into thousands of small zones and maximizes HDR effects for each zone, delivering a vivid and clear picture.
The product comes with an integrated stand that can rotate 360°, making it convenient to carry and move to any indoor or outdoor location. When watching, the stand can be rotated and fixed like a mount, allowing free adjustment of the screen height and angle.
Customers can access the internet and enjoy various content such as domestic and international OTT services without connecting any separate devices, based on LG’s proprietary webOS platform. It supports AirPlay 2 and Miracast, enabling screen sharing with iOS and Android OS devices.
Starting with the live broadcast 'Ella Show' on the online brand shop on the 18th, LG Electronics will sequentially sell the LG CineBeam Qube through online and offline channels. The domestic launch price is 1,390,000 KRW.
