Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) held the opening ceremony of the Jungnang Yangwon Media Center on the afternoon of the 15th.
The Jungnang Yangwon Media Center is the second media facility in Jungnang-gu dedicated to media education and cultural activities for residents. It consists of media-related spaces such as a movie theater, multipurpose studio, book cafe, and video editing room, and plans to offer educational programs utilizing various equipment.
The center is open to anyone after membership registration, and by joining as a full member for an annual fee of 10,000 KRW, members can also use media equipment rental services such as cameras.
The opening ceremony began with a performance by Jungnang artists, followed by reports on the center’s establishment and operation plans, congratulatory speeches, and a unveiling ceremony.
Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi said, “The Jungnang Yangwon Media Center will be a space where all Jungnang-gu residents can develop their media skills and imagination,” adding, “Please look forward to the Jungnang Yangwon Media Center becoming a media guide for the residents of Jungnang-gu.”
