Until the morning of the 18th, strong wind warnings are in effect for the Gangwon mountains, the west coast of Chungnam, the Jeolla coast, the east coast of Gyeongbuk, northern inland Gyeongbuk, and Jeju, where gusts of around 70 km/h (over 90 km/h in mountainous areas) are expected. Other regions will experience strong winds with gusts exceeding 55 km/h.

From the afternoon of Tuesday the 19th, strong winds will return nationwide. These strong winds will not only intensify the cold snap but also increase the risk of fires.

Some areas in Gangwon, Chungbuk, Yeongnam, and eastern Jeonnam have issued dry weather advisories due to very dry air, and other regions are also dry, so extra caution is needed to prevent fires such as wildfires.

Most maritime areas are under high seas warnings, with strong winds of 35 to 60 km/h and waves 2 to 4 meters high expected until the 18th.

From the 17th, swells are entering the east coast, causing high waves to crash over rocky shores and breakwaters, so caution is advised.
