According to Samsung Electronics on the 16th, the Wind-Free Air Conditioner, first introduced globally in 2016, presented an innovative cooling paradigm in the air conditioner market with its "comfortable wind-free" feature without direct airflow.
Wind-Free cooling is a major reason consumers choose Samsung's Wind-Free Air Conditioner. A survey of 500 consumers who purchased Wind-Free Air Conditioners over the past three years revealed that 82% of buyers considered the Wind-Free function when deciding to purchase an air conditioner.
Consumers prefer the Wind-Free feature because of ▲cooling that is neither cold nor dry with low noise ▲and high energy efficiency that saves power consumption.
Samsung's Wind-Free Air Conditioner has continued to innovate by enhancing energy savings and consumer convenience features.
The stand-type product, 'Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Gallery,' has all 2024 models rated as Grade 1 or Grade 2 in energy consumption efficiency, and when AI saving mode is set through SmartThings, energy usage can be reduced by up to 30%.
Additionally, by applying Bixby, various air conditioner functions can be easily operated via voice commands without a remote control. Simple voice controls such as turning the air conditioner on and off or adjusting the temperature are supported directly by the air conditioner device itself, allowing use without Wi-Fi connection.
Moreover, it is equipped with a function that detects indoor movement to operate the air conditioner automatically, making the product more convenient to use. When no indoor movement is detected, energy is saved by ▲switching to power-saving mode or turning off the power after a certain period through 'absence power saving,' and ▲hygiene management is made easier with 'absence drying,' which dries moisture inside the air conditioner.
A Samsung Electronics official said, "The Wind-Free Air Conditioner, chosen by ten million consumers, has repeatedly innovated and set a new standard for air conditioners," adding, "We will continue to introduce evolved products that combine excellent cooling performance with energy savings and smart technology."
